Latest Project

For my latest quilt project, I have settled on 12 tee-shirts from my travels. The tee-shirts represent times and memories of the past. As I work on the quilt, the memories will come back along with the people who shared them with me. The quilt layout and the colors are flexible but the memories will not change. I will post pictures of the project as I go. Comments are welcome!

    Oh, I clicked on the wrong tab and my comment was deleted. I am writing again.

    Awesome project! I think quilting is a creative hobby. It is said in Korea that stitching is good for "prenatal educaiton(or care?)". I'm not sure you have heard about this since I just translated Korean into English. During the pregnancy, having good food, listening to classical music, having positive mind, and doing good work are said to have good effect on one's unborn baby. So, when I was pregnant with my second child, I tried cross stitching. It required a lot of patience, and I realized stitching would not be my hobby. That was the first and last stitching experience. But I still remember a huge sense of accomplishemnt I felt when I put the last stitch.
    Since then, I respect a person whose hobby is stitching, and he/she should be a patient person.

    Sounds interesting in your current project you are working on. Can't wait to see your picture of it. I never tried to do a quilt as my hobby but someday...expect to have a chance to learn and practice it.:D
